Meanwhile, at the Oordegem 5000m in Belgium, Alex Yee switched codes again and ran a 13:13 PB, beating several of Britain’s top track specialists.
This weekend, some of our top junior athletes starred in the England Athletics Age Group Championships and produced outstanding performances.
You can track the results and watch the live stream from the event here.
Also, a shout-out to Molly O’Connor and Claire Oxlade who took part in the T100 Triathlon in London today. Results are still due to be published, however, fantastic efforts, with Molly qualifying for the 2026 European Championships!
Before you read on…A reminder that our next social run will take place on Wednesday evening. Meet at the track for 7pm and come ready to run!
We also need support on the night of our next open meet on Thursday 11th September. If you can help, please contact Rich Giles. Volunteers are what make this club the community it is today.
